Recently I went on vacation to Key West, Fl. Never having travelled there before, I was pleasantly surprised by the charming little town that Ernest Hemingway made famous. Not only for its unique vegetation, banyan trees, georgeus snorkeling sea but especially how design loving this town was. Paying attention to everything outdoor, I was in love with the outdoor curtains that made little charming houses so stylish. Yes, it rains there almost every day in the summer, but the outdoor fabrics don't budge. Why don't we use outdoor curtains more in the DC area? Our vegetation is equally lush in the summer, and the curtains can provide much-needed privacy for houses and other private residences. I decided to go for it at my own house, so stay tuned. For now enjoy the photos from Key West where design speaks for itself.
